Dr. Brian Kanona earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from ATSU in 2017 following receiving a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, Minor in Biology, and Minor in Exercise Physiology from Oakland University. He has had the opportunity in his career thus far to work with various orthopedic, neurologic, geriatric, pediatric, and sport-specific patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting. In addition to staying well-informed of new and innovative rehab developments, he enjoys applying and promoting the latest in Evidence Based Methods of assessing and treating movement dysfunction. Aside Theraworx Rehabilitation, Dr. Kanona practices at William Beaumont Corewell Hospital Troy. Dr. Kanona not only has a strong passion for helping people optimize their health and well-being, but strives to be a trusted, constant rehabilitation resource for the local community. Dr. Kanona lives in Rochester Hills with his wife and three children and enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing hockey, staying active, and weekend summer getaways in northern Michigan. Dr. Kanona is a God fearing man whose faith in Christ is reflected in his practice.
